As with the 2006 version, the words 'Mercedes-Benz' appear on the dial below the 12 o'clock position, just above the TAG Heuer symbol. A special feature of the TAG Heuer Mercedes Benz SLR chronograph is the internal bi-directional rotating bezel with 60-minute scale. It can be rotated using the secondary crown positioned at 9 o'clock, enabling rapid countdown using the minutes hand. A special polishing process gives rise to the dynamic spiral effect of the dial. Large, hand-finished appliqué double-index diamond hour markers ensure optimal readability even in poor visibility. Both small dial counters are bordered by polished, hand-finished appliqué circles. Hands and index markers are provided with luminescent coatings. The gorgeous bezel displays a tachometric scale in silver print on a black PVD-coated surface. The case and bracelet sides are finished in subtle polished steel, while the case and bracelet top are in a brushed satin-finish. The bracelet is absolutely stunning in its refined elegance.
