TAG Heuer Calibre 36-R at Baselworld 2004, and the 2006 TAG Heuer SLR Chronograph in a limited series of 3500 pieces, comes the limited series of 3500 pieces of the updated SLR for Mercedes Benz for 2007. As with the 2006 version, the words 'Mercedes-Benz' appear on the dial below the 12 o'clock position, just above the TAG Heuer symbol. (Mercedes-Benz and TAG Heuer are trademarks of their respective brands). A special feature of the TAG Heuer Mercedes Benz SLR chronograph is the internal bi-directional rotating bezel with 60-minute scale. It can be rotated using the secondary crown positioned at 9 o'clock, enabling rapid countdown using the minutes hand. A special polishing process gives rise to the dynamic spiral effect of the dial. Large, hand-finished appliqué double-index diamond hour markers ensure optimal readability even in poor visibility. Both small dial counters are bordered by polished, hand-finished appliqué circles. Hands and index markers are provided with luminescent coatings. The gorgeous bezel displays a tachometric scale in silver print on a black PVD-coated surface. The case and bracelet sides are finished in subtle polished steel, while the case and bracelet top are in a brushed satin-finish. The bracelet is absolutely stunning in its refined elegance. The beautifully finished deployant buckle is easily opened using two discreet pushbuttons. Limited edition numbering appears on the case back together with the TAG Heuer and SLR logos. The watch has a weighty feel to it, and in all respects, exhibits the pinnacle of quality.

Watch comes packaged in a 5 1/4 inch square box with cherry-finish inner bracket and suede-finish inner cushion. Inner box top is silk-screened with dynamic SLR logo. Box top is silk-screened MERCEDES BENZ and with TAG Heuer Green/Red/White Logo. Outer protective box labeled similarly.
